Maeris

Run and maintain your UI and API tests from a conversation in Claude, ChatGPT or Codex. The connector works against the tests, APIs and environments already in your Maeris account.

What the connector can access

Everything is scoped to the Maeris application you select, and to your own account. One person's sign-in never gives access to another person's data.

Test cases and folders

Read, create, rename, edit steps, and run them.

APIs and collections

Read, create, update, organise, import and export.

Environments and variables

Read and change them, including any credentials you store there.

Flows and assertions

Build multi-step API flows and checks on responses.

Test results

Read run history, failure reasons and step-level logs.

Running an API or a test sends real requests to whichever system you have configured, so treat a test environment as something the connector can act on. Do not store production secrets in a test environment.

What it cannot do

Read your source code. Generating tests from a repository needs access to your machine, so it stays in the Maeris CLI. Tests created there appear in the connector straight away.
Import a file from your computer. Importing a Postman collection or existing test files is a CLI feature for the same reason.
Reach anything outside your selected application.

Permissions and safety

Every tool the connector offers declares whether it only reads data or can change or delete it, so your assistant can warn you before anything destructive runs.

Access is granted per user through a sign-in, and can be removed at any time by disconnecting the connector or signing out of Maeris.
